Since 2019, French photojournalist Nicolas Cortes has documented settler violence and the Israeli occupation in the occupied West Bank. Since October 7, 2023, the situation has deteriorated in the region, with violence against families escalating. In Masafer Yatta, located in Area C, under full Israeli control, the Palestinian population is being forced into exile under the pressure of demolitions, attacks, and restrictions.
